# FOUNDATION
Illing & Hübler KG-Duroplastverarbeitung und Werkzeugbau in Lengefeld recognized the development possibilities of thermoplastic processing in the 50s-60s and built a new and modern plant at the location “Augustusburger Str. 24”, separate from the existing thermoset molding plant in the town center.
# NEW PRODUCTION SITE
Illing & Hübler KG-Duroplastverarbeitung und Werkzeugbau in Lengefeld recognized the development possibilities of thermoplastic processing in the 50s-60s and built a new and modern plant at the location “Augustusburger Str. 24”, separate from the existing thermoset pressing store in the town center.
# NATIONALIZATION
In the 1970s, Illing & Hübler KG, like so many independent companies in the GDR, was nationalized and affiliated with the Zwönitz measuring instrument factory as a state-owned enterprise.
# NEW FOUNDATION
Until the beginning of the 1990s, all parts made of plastic and elastomer for the combine were manufactured in the Lengefeld plant section, including for GDR communications technology, teleprinters and dialysis, which was particularly monitored by the state organs at the time.
In 1993, the measuring instrument factory in Zwönitz and its operating units were liquidated. It was not until the end of 1994 that the entrepreneurs Uwe Rösch and Bertram Weigel succeeded in acquiring the company from the Treuhand & Liegengesellschaft and in re-establishing Plastron GmbH & Co.KG.
# 20 YEARS PLASTRON
In the last 20 years the company could develop to a solid partner for the existing and new customers. The continuation of the history was confirmed on 01.01.2014 with the business succession of Ronny Weigel as new shareholder and managing director.
# PRODUCTION EXPANSION
Ronny quickly and consistently set the company on the path to success and increased customer satisfaction. He began his work with the most basic and essential steps. The unused space of the company was transformed into warehouse, product production and administrative offices. It significantly shortened the time from order to delivery to the customer. The constant renovation of the premises contributes to the growth of the company.
Progress in the portfolio and promotion of the products to be produced were the most important steps in achieving a high level.
Extensive measures have been implemented to increase customer satisfaction and offer a proactive service approach.
